What is the Artmatt return policy?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at theartmatt@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

When can I expect to receive my refund?
After we have received your return items, please allow 2-4 business days to issue you a full refund, including any applicable taxes, less any shipping charges. Depending on your bank, it may take up to two billing cycles for your refund to appear on your statement. For international orders, we cannot issue refunds for any applicable customs, duties, or additional fees.

Why am I being charged additional taxes and/or fees when checking out?
Our website prices do not include taxes or possible additional fees. After you enter your shipping address at checkout, any applicable taxes and fees are added on.

Do you offer any discounts for yoga instructors or even for first-time buyers?
We do! If you are interested in possibly earning a discount off your purchase, you can apply through our Custom Mats page. After we receive your query, we will get back to you with information on your discount and how to use it.

Can I leave my mat outside in the sun?
While we don’t recommend leaving your mat out in the sun for prolonged periods of time, using your mat outside on occasion is totally fine. Our mats are biodegradable and earth-friendly, but frequent exposure to the elements can harm their integrity. If you do tend to practice outside in the sun, we recommend storing your mat in a cool place indoors after you are done using it.

Our exercise mats are made largely from natural rubber, meaning that there can be a very slight rubber smell when first removed from the box. We also put our mats through an airing-out process to reduce this rubber scent. If you notice any hint of a rubbery smell coming from your mat upon opening the package, just unroll your mat and let it air out overnight before using it!

How do I store my mat?
Make sure your mat is dry before rolling it up, but it’s as simple as that! Roll it up the same way you unrolled it to maintain its structural integrity. We advise against folding your mat for this reason too. After it’s rolled up, store the mat in a cool, dry place indoors.
